According to StarSport, Everton are close to signing Rennes defender, Ramy Bensebaini, for £13.3m. The 23 year old Algerian international plays in centre defence or Left Back.
- 4th Official report Everton will not pursue their interest in Inter Milan’s Portuguese midfielder, Joao Mário. Forza Italian Football suggest Everton and Bournemouth are in the mix for the €25m rated 25 year old. The same outlet continue to link Everton with PSVs 22 year old Mexican winger, Hirving Lozano.
- The Liverpool Echo say Everton held a transfer summit yesterday evening to consolidate plans for this window. Marco Silva and Marcel Brands headed to London for a meeting with Bill Kenwright.
- Italian daily, Gazzetta dello Sport, suggest Everton are in a scrap with Juventus and Inter Milan for the signature of 17 year old attacking midfielder, Samuele Mulattieri. The youngster plays for Spezia Academy and is one of the most talked about talents in Italy. The Toffees would only have to pay a paltry compensation to snare him.
- The Daily Record has provided an update on Everton’s pursuit of Celtic Left Back, Kieran Tierney, via a podcast by Transfer Consultant, Ian McGarry. McGarry suggests Tierney and his agent have already agreed a deal in principle with The Toffees.
