New Director of Football Marcel Brands has already commented on his desire to strengthen Everton’s pool of youth talent in the academy, and that has led to a host of players departing the club today.
Under-18s captain Tom Scully has been let go, as has Stephen Duke-McKenna who was on the bench for Everton last season as they won 3-0 in their Europa League dead rubber match against Apollon Limassol in Cyprus.
Nathan Baxter is the other notable name, having been brought in from Vitesse Arnhem during Roberto Martínez’ tenure at the club.
Other players to see their time with the Toffees come to an end include; Tom Murphy, Sid Kerr, Charlie Ball, Nathan Moore and Jordan Corke.
