Vitalii Mykolenko is expected to be fit for the visit to north London despite a dead leg sustained when captaining Everton against Boreham Wood.
Lampard is staying “as close to Vitalii as I can, so he feels my support”, amid the Russian invasion of the player’s Ukrainian homeland, and has detected similar backing from Mykolenko’s colleagues.
“The way they have rallied around Vitalii has been great,” added Lampard, “I have been really impressed with the attitude and humility and work ethic of the squad.
“A situation like this brings different qualities and it is great to see humans interacting and supporting someone who is having a tough time.”
In a solely sporting context, Mykolenko’s inclusion in the party for Spurs would qualify as an additional boost, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin also in contention to feature.
Ben Godfrey is closing on a comeback, even if next week comes too soon, and Demarai Gray will be back in the equation before long.
