Everton defender Michael Keane has been hospitalised with a "nasty" infection that has spread up his leg.

The 24-year-old England centre-back missed Sunday's 2-0 defeat at Leicester City. "Michael got a knock; a really bad gash against Sunderland, and it got infected and spread up his leg," Unsworth said at full-time at the King Power Stadium.

"It's been really, really nasty and he's been hospitalised. We got some good news when we got to the ground that there's been a big improvement, so hopefully he can be available for Sunday's game."

Everton play at home on Sunday against Watford with eight points at 18th position on the league table. They look forward to win against The Hornets to climb up the table.

Joey Barton has warned Everton not to appoint David Unsworth as permanent manager. "Not Unsworth. Will get relegated for 1st time in history if they do."

The two straight losses has taken the air out of the support Unsworth was getting for him to take over permanently.

The Toffees are in a dire run of form and sit in the relegation zone after 10 games, with just two wins, and are bottom of their Europa League group.

我唔認為挖角silva或戴治會肯來，過來風險大到離晒譜，降左班棧做臭自己個朵，季尾過來就唔奇(如果我地重係英超)，但唔認為季中佢地會過來。

冇成績係咪逐個月換領隊?

如果2者之間夾生要(再)挖角, 我揀MARCO SILVA多過戴治, 佢手執屈福特手牌但係打出黎個進攻其實幾有效率, 非常擅長側擊同組織, 合理地斬波而唔係9斬, 我最欣賞係將防中DOUCOURE同CAPOUE合理地融入到組織能力.  可能防守仍然有待改善....
