Ambitious Everton have offered to make Ronald Koeman one of the best-paid managers in the Premier League.

Southampton want boss Koeman to sign a new £5million two-year deal, but it is understood the Goodison Park club are prepared to more than DOUBLE that and give him a £6m-per-season contract.

That would put the Dutchman behind only Pep Guardiola, Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger in the top flight's wage stakes, with Everton's new major backer Farhad Moshiri prepared to invest heavily on a new big-name manager as well as player transfers this summer.

Everton hope to name their new manager inside the next fortnight.

The Mail on Sunday says Everton are keen to make a decision in the next 10 days with so many issues up in the air regarding next season.

Star names John Stones and Romelu Lukaku are almost certain to leave and the next manager has to decide how to spend the likely £90million revenue.

A number of players including long-serving duo Leon Osman and Tony Hibbert, Steven Pienaar and Darron Gibson are also out of contract and awaiting to see if they will receive new offers.

Former manager Joe Royle, who returned to the club in 2014 to help with scouting and the academy, may be retained as a figurehead but won't wield any power at first-team level.

Reports in the Daily Express suggest Moshiri was in Milan at the weekend to take in the Champions League final.

And given beaten Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone suggested he was considering his future, that has led two and two to be put together in spectacular fashion and link the Argentine with a move to Goodison.

Certainly, money wouldn't be an issue given Moshiri's financial clout.

Mind you, Milan is also the current home of former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini , now in charge at Inter.

柏歷堅尼在曼城執教其間贏得3座獎盃，但下季依然要讓位予哥迪奧拿。
雖然傳出愛華頓想找柏帥執教，但柏歷堅尼強調他只會選一些自己感興趣的工作。
「如果沒有我想做的工作，我會停一停，休息一下，可能到12月，可能抖1年。當然我會心掛掛，因為工作的挑戰性是我人生最大推動力。」
