Everton manager Roberto Martinez will allow Romelu Lukaku to leave Goodison Park for PSG, according to the striker’s agent Mino Raiola
Everton certainly displayed a huge signal of intent by splashing a club record £28million to secure the services of Romelu Lukaku last summer and it has to be said that the Belgian international has been a good signing for the Toffees so far.
While there is certainly a huge room for improvement, Lukaku managed an impressive 20 goals in 48 appearances last season and has bagged 7 in 13 appearances so far during the current campaign.
At just 22, Lukaku has a lot of time to improve and one suspects that he will eventually become one of the best strikers in the world in the coming years.
Given Lukaku’s immense talent, it has been no surprise to see that the striker has a lot of ambition as well and he did hint over the summer that he would be open to joining a bigger club in the future.
Now to fuel speculation regarding Lukaku’s potential exit from Everton, the striker’s agent, Mino Raiola, has gone on to reveal that he had a chat with manager Roberto Martinez regarding the Belgian international and added that the Spaniard will allow his prized asset to leave for the right price.
Riaola said, “Lukaku to PSG? We had a discussion with Martinez, he said he would let him leave Everton if a good offer comes in. But talking about the transfer window now makes no sense.”
Paris Saint Germain hold an interest in signing Lukaku and following Raiola’s comments, the French giants could well sign the 22-year old for a fee in the region of around £40million. |
