Allardyce would be happy to take on the job, but is requesting certain assurances before doing so, such as a two-and-a-half year deal.
In addition, the ex-Palace boss would want a bumper pay deal plus a survival bonus after the Toffees made a poor start to the season which places them at risk of the drop.
The 63-year-old will reportedly tell Everton he wishes to bring his own backroom staff as part of his plans to turn the ship around.
Everton owner Farhad Moshiri may have to put his hand in his pocket, as Allardyce will apparently request to bring around 10 of his own staff.
This includes recently sacked Leicester boss Craig Shakespeare, who worked with ‘Big Sam’ at England, as well as Martyn Margetson as goalkeeper coach.
