Oumar Niasse needs to leave Everton this summer for the sake of his career, says Ronald Koeman.
The Senegal striker has been forzen out by new Blues boss Koeman and not given a squad number for the new campaign.
Everton are trying to offload the £13.5m forward and offered him to Crystal Palace on a season-long loan as part of the deal which saw Yannick Bolasie move to Goodison.
Hull City are said to be showing interest in Niasse and Koeman has issued a blunt summary of the 26-year-old’s current situation, whilst also confirming that Aiden McGeady will be allowed to leave the club.
“We make a fast decision about Niasse, we make that fast decision about McGeady and maybe one or two or three more it will be very difficult for them to be part of the team because we have a big squad but I will first speak to the player,” Koeman said.
And on Niasse, he went on to say: “I he likes to play football then he needs to leave Everton.”
James McCarthy’s Blues future has been questioned this week with Sunderland said to be keen on the Republic of Ireland international.
But Koeman has dismissed the idea of losing him.
“He started last week. And that is no reason to have doubts about his future at Everton,” the manager said.
