Under-23s coach suffered his third successive defeat, in Lyon, as Everton were dumped out of the Europa League.

That followed Joey Barton’s tirade on Twitter that he looked more like a steward on the sidelines, that he was little more than a “glorified PE teacher” and that Everton will go down if Unsworth is given the full-time job.

But the former Toffees defender says the only pain he feels is for the fans, who he is desperate to reward with a win at home to Watford today.

He said: “I’m not bothered about comments about myself. I’m hurting because we are not winning games and that is really important to me.

“I’m hurting when I see thousands of fans travel to Lyon and to Chelsea and Leicester and we don’t get the result for them. That’s what hurts me.

Moyes enjoyed 11 successful years in charge of Everton before leaving to join Manchester United ahead of the 2013-14 season and the Scotsman admits he would be interested in returning to his former club role, although he admitted he has potential options elsewhere.

"Of course it would have to be yes, but I've got other things ongoing and it might not be too long before I'm back in work," Moyes told beIN SPORTS.

"If the job came up I would be interested, but I've got other interests as well.

"Bill [Kenwright] is one of the best chairmen so anyone who does get the job will be working with a really good chairman who's incredibly supportive.

"I had 11 great years there - I loved it. Sometimes going back isn't always the answer but Jose Mourinho went back to Chelsea and won the league, and now Jupp Heynckes is back at Bayern Munich.

"I'm a better coach and better all-round manager. I think in football you have to go through difficulties."

Moyes admits he expected Everton to be competing in the top half of the Premier League table after signing the likes of Wayne Rooney, Michael Keane and Gylfi Sigurdsson last summer.

"I'm amazed because I had them down to be top six," said Moyes.

"I think they've bought good players, but I'm not sure if they've bought all the right pieces and I don't expect them to be where they are right now."

West Ham plan to sack besieged coach Slaven Bilic in the next few days and are lining up David Moyes to replace him, a source close to the club told ESPN FC.

The Hammers lost to Liverpool 4-1 at the London Stadium on Saturday, with the result set to be the final game in Bilic's tenure, a few months into his third season in charge.

Moyes will be offered a six-month contract by the club, with Phil Neville set to join up as part of the back-room team and possibly as the assistant manager.

Asked if he'd be surprised if West Ham sacked Bilic, Sam Allardyce said on  Match of the Day:  "It wouldn’t surprise me because there were rumours not so long ago that Slaven had two games or three games, and I think that no contract extension in the summer, in his last year of his contract, so it all pointed out to the first 10 games for Slaven were the most important, and he knew that.”


如果老莫肯接受6個月合約，咁點解唔搵佢返來教到季尾？用成績說話？

大sam的名聲真係一般，我諗唔到佢來教我地拖肥，加上佢唔似老莫肯短期執教喎。dyche 應該都帶過般尼降班，其實佢有乜咁勁搞到咁熱門我真係唔知點解，如果老莫肯短期執教，我真係諗唔到點解唔比佢教到季尾，你唔鐘意咪季尾換人羅，用成績講野姐

希汀克肯來我都無問題，不過唔似會來。依家的賠率睇，Dyche和大Sam已經遙遙領先，如果得返Dyche，大Sam和老莫，三選一，你會選邊個?

老莫願意執教韋斯咸6個月合約，大Sam要2年半約，要留級花紅，要乜要乜，全部係錢，我真係覺得幾討厭呢條友

根本就係，季尾你唔鐘意咪唔續約羅，季尾又多好多選擇，老莫又願意接受短約，佢又熟識我地職球員和球會運作，點解唔比機會佢呢？起碼好過搵大sam之流丫，重要的係佢真係肯接受一張短約喎。

Dyche咪一樣帶般尼降班，同老莫比根本就係老莫的優點佢無，Dyche做到的老莫都做到，現實d講點解Dyche和大Sam係賠率熱爆呢？係咪市場無其他教頭? 肯定唔係，我亦相信愛隊有接觸其他領隊例如杜曹，安帥，甚至賓帥，問題係無人肯來丫嘛，所以才會只得呢2個大熱羅，但呢2個點睇都唔及老莫，而且老莫肯接受短約都係優勢，老莫接受訪問都話標叔叔係一個好好的主席，加上佢係我隊執教11年，就算短教都肯定全副心神放係我隊執教上，唔會只係為錢而來，唔會hea教。

如果系有料，錢可以俾。　可以再穩啊！降班就無錢啦！
不過2年半合約系有D過份啊！　保組真系要穩大SAM ...

降班就被人拆骨架啦，成隊波就散架啦，因收入減少，球會也要清走高薪球員，如果唔能夠即時彈起，隨時一沉不起，唔好講笑，無可能要熱血而唔要留級羅，就算贏得幾難睇都好，就算泊大巴場場負碌1：0，贏波就係好教練，我都揀留級而唔要熱血。
