Despite the pressure mounting on Koeman, the Everton boss believes he has time to turn things around on Merseyside.
He said: "That's normal, that's football. We played against the top five of last season but this is not a position in the table that is good for Everton.
"I understand, I have worked for a long time in football, don't tell me what can happen. But I don't think its too late."
Koeman was calm and relaxed when addressing the media. He said: "It's not the time to start to be crazy because we lost 5-2 today. It's a big result, and OK, we will see what happens."
