Everton's financial year 18/19 has closed. The absence of player sales before the year end leaves us with record financial losses for 2018/19 (£80 million plus by my reckoning). The international window (TMS) opens June 11th so perhaps we will see activity beyond that date

Leighton Baines has been offered a one-year extension by Everton and is expected to sign the contract next week, Sky Sports News understands.

The former England Left back lost his place in the side last season to Lucas Digne but the club are anxious to keep the experienced defender at Goodison Park.
