But Koeman’s agent, Rob Jansen, has rejected claims that an agreement between the 53-year-old and Everton has already been agreed.
Jansen claims he was mis-quoted by the Dutch media and has moved to try and clarify the situation.
“That’s really not the case,” Jansen is reported to have said.
“First, the clubs must have agreed. Then we get back into action. I can not say whether his brother Erwin will go along as an assistant. That’s all still premature now.
“Let’s just quietly wait if the clubs come to an agreement.”
