Everton have agreed a deal in principle with Leicester City to take head of recruitment Steve Walsh and make him their new director of football, according to Sky sources.

The Premier League champions turned down an approach from Everton, who are now managed by Ronald Koeman and bouyed by significant investment from new owners, over the weekend.

Walsh was responsible for heading the recruitment team that unearthed players such as Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez and N'Golo Kante, leading to inevitable reluctance to lose him to another club.

Manchester United are set to hire Everton scout Steve Brown to be part of their recruitment team.

Brown held the position of first-team scouting and recruitment co-ordinator at Goodison Park and has been with the Merseyside club for nearly eight years.

Having worked under David Moyes and closely with Roberto Martinez, he is set for pastures new to work alongside Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, according to the Liverpool Echo.

Toffees chairman Bill Kenwright and billionaire majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri met with Anderson in London to discuss the possibilities of a replacement ground for Goodison Park.

The Everton-supporting Mayor tweeted: "Great meeting with Farhad. Still believe a new stadium in 2 yrs is achievable. #COYB."

The tweet was also accompanied by a photograph of the three men at the meeting.

Everton are looking at a docklands-based site or land at Stonebridge Cross in Croxteth after plans to develop on Walton Hall Park were abandoned in May, just two months after Moshiri bought into the club.

當然咁多年都入好多好貨不過Scout Team咁多年
Brown都唔係Head...
只係重要一員

物有所值的話點都有錢買，要做水魚的話就真係要唸下，另外有報導話愛隊希望儘快搞掂史東斯的轉會，唔希望開季先走，氣氛唔好，但問題係未有球會正式報價，上季車仔開40m都無賣，所以今季一定要有球會高過40m才會賣

雖然預料得到換教頭會拖慢買賣球員的進度，不過8月中開季，但依家7月下旬都到啦，但依然無乜交易，似乎進度真係偏慢，左翼和較炮手呢2個位置係必需的，中堅我反而唔係好急，就算石頭走買唔切人，季初有隊長和mori，然後重有galloway和browning都可以打到中堅位，開季先買亦唔係話唔得，當然早d可以夾就更好。

右翼成村人，米拉拿斯，麥基迪，連儂，迪路仔，但我地真係無一個正宗的左翼，只係搵右翼去兼打左翼，當然唔係話唔得，但始終差d。

攻中呢，唔使講啦，過去幾季我都話要搵個識交波，能做致命傳送，視野開闊的攻中，但由於價錢問題，好的攻中都唔會來，全隊得一個二線攻中巴克利，完全唔稱職，所以開季前左翼和攻中係一定要補強，而且係無得推遲的。

我覺得佢只能算係潛質新秀吧，講往績其實都無乜參考性，23歲後生仔，只係係葡萄牙打左兩三年波，如果去到頂級聯賽打成點真係唔知，但作為攻中的潛力點都比巴克利好，只係助攻的數據已經贏晒，希望真係簽到
