With the transfer window open, and some clubs having completed deals, premierleague.com looks at some of the best signings of the summer in 2015.
A successful loan spell at the end of the 2014/15 Premier League season prompted Everton to make Aaron Lennon's move from Tottenham Hotspur permanent.
Despite competing with Gerard Deulofeu for a place in the first team in 2015/16, Lennon made 17 starts for the Goodison Park club and scored five goals, including a fantastic strike in a 1-1 draw with his former club.
Lennon converted 33% of his total shots, demonstrating impressive accuracy when he found himself with a sight of goal. The 2015/16 campaign was his best goalscoring season in seven years, having only netted five times on one previous occasion during his Spurs days.
Speaking before his departure from Goodison Park in May 2016, manager Roberto Martinez was delighted with his impact on Merseyside.
“He’s been really, really impressive," Martinez said. "He’s been influential in everything that he happened in the final third and his performances have been very strong.
"I think the drive was to try to earn a place in the team and clearly he has given a lesson to everyone with how to behave in that role. He is a winger with a lot of experience and has the quality to get away from defenders but his defensive qualities are very strong.”
